China Budget Hotel Report, 2009-2010

December 31, 2009, China had a total budget hotels in 3757 to 952 and 33.9% year on year, with 412,840 rooms and 99,910 increased 31.9% year on year
The ten best budget hotels in China were Home Inns, Jinjiang Inn, Motel168, 7 Days Inn, Hanting Inns & Hotels, GreenTree Inn, Super 8 Hotel, Hotel Ibis, Hotel Vienna and Home Hotel. The first three, five and ten accounted for 37.0%, 52.5% and 63.3% of the Chinese market for a budget hotel, respectively, and the market is concentrated more in the future.

Hotels in China are mainly distributed in the first budget line cities like Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, Beijing and Shanghai accounted for only about 25% of China. What happened to the seasonal patterns of the market this year?

For many years I have touted the consistency and power of the seasonality of the stock market, the market trend to make the most of their earnings between November and April, and to experience the majority of its corrections, in the market losses and accidents between May and October

In my 1999 book Riding the Bear. – How to thrive in the coming bear market, even introduced my seasonal strategy as a means of further benefits for the strong bull market of 1990, then go to thrive also in serious bear market than I expected. My strategy improved seasonal normal seasonal pattern in the market using a technical momentum indicator to better time entries and exits of the fall in the spring.

In the next ten years, a period that experienced two bear markets most serious since the 1929 crisis, my STS produced a compounded increase of 132% compared with the S & P 500 lost a 13% in one of the worst periods of one year the market for ten centuries. Basically I was looking for a passive investment that could make my money work for me and generate a good cash flow that did not need much time commitment. I also wanted a stock market system where I could quickly get questions answered as I was just a stock market beginner and just learning the system.

Since we live in a world of great technology, with the use of a basic Internet connection you potentially can create the ultimate business and lifestyle for yourself. As long as you have an Internet connection you are in business and can do so from anywhere in the world and whenever it suits you (depending on how much time you need for your particular stock market strategy).
There are many good, reliable online brokers that are easy to set up accounts with. They give very cheap brokerage fees and many offer real time virtual trading accounts. This means that before you put any real money into the stock market you can practice what you have learnt and have total confidence the day you decide to enter the market with real money.
